Blue Star Maiden is a crystal skull that was carved by Moon Hawk, a Native American artist and shaman. He says that he was inspired by a vision he had in 1996, when he saw a blue star in the sky and heard a voice telling him to carve a crystal skull. He says that the voice belonged to the spirit of Blue Star Maiden, who is a star being from the Pleiades constellation.
